When individuals engage in selfless service alongside other members of society, the bonds of friendship and love become more pronounced, as does the shared objective of working for the betterment of the world. In this way, service can be seen as an individual\u2019s expression of responsibility towards others, where all participants actively contribute to community life. Service reflects the inherent nobility of the human race, inspiring the individual to give without expectation of return.
