The World-wide Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed community with members from every nationality, religious, cultural, economic, and social background is represented on the international stage by the <\/span>Bah\u00e1\u02bc\u00ed International Community<\/span><\/a>\u00a0with offices in New York and Geneva, and regional offices in Addis Ababa, Brussels and Jakarta.<\/span><\/p>

Registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) with the United Nations in 1948, the \"Bah\u00e1'\u00ed International Community\" currently holds consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). It is also accredited with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Department of Global Communications at the United Nations. The Bah\u00e1'\u00ed International Community works in cooperation with the UN and its specialized agencies, as well as with member states, governmental and non-governmental organizations, academia, and professionals.
