In 1260 Hijra year, 1844 AD, the coast of Musqat was blessed with the footsteps of a Youth Who was the Herald of the Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed religion. His name was Siyy\u00edd Ali Muhammad from Shiraz, He was known as The B\u00e1b. On His way to the Hajj pilgrimage to the Holy city of Makkah, the B\u00e1b passed through the waters and shores of the Gulf of Oman, Arabian Sea and the Red Sea both to and from.<\/p><p>The origin of the Bah\u00e1'\u00ed Faith can be traced to two divine messengers: <a href=\"https:\/\/bahaiae.org\/en\/the-bab\/\">The B\u00e1b<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bahaiae.org\/en\/bahaullah\/\">Bah\u00e1\u2019u\u2019llah<\/a>. The unity that characterizes the Bah\u00e1'\u00ed Faith today stems from clear, written guidance provided by Bah\u00e1'u'll\u00e1h to ensure the unity of the Bah\u00e1'\u00ed community and protect it from division after His death. This chain of succession, referred to as the Covenant, passed from Bah\u00e1'u'll\u00e1h to His eldest son, \u02bfAbdu'l-Bah\u00e1, then to \u02bfAbdu'l-Bah\u00e1\u2019s grandson, Shoghi Effendi, and after him to the Universal House of Justice, as ordained by Bah\u00e1'u'll\u00e1h in His Most Holy Book.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b717404 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con
