\n\t\t\t\tThe Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed Faith regards the current world confusion and calamitous condition in human affairs as a natural phase in an organic process leading ultimately and irresistibly to the unification of the human race in a single social order whose boundaries are those of the planet. The human race, as a distinct, organic unit, has passed through evolutionary stages analogous to the stages of infancy and childhood in the lives of its in-dividual members, and is now in the culminating period of its turbulent adolescence approaching its long-awaited coming of age.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Universal House of Justice<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Universal House of Justice is a body composed of nine members who are elected every five years by members of the National Spiritual Assemblies of the Bah\u00e1'\u00ed world.<\/span><\/p>

Since its first election in 1963, the Universal House of Justice has guided the global Bah\u00e1'\u00ed community in developing its capacities to contribute to the building of an ever-advancing global civilization.<\/span><\/p>

In His book of laws, Bah\u00e1\u2019u\u2019ll\u00e1h decreed that the Universal House of Justice should strive to create a positive impact for the welfare of mankind, to spread His teachings, to bring about peace and global prosperity, to protect human honour and the station of religion.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tInasmuch as for each day there is a new problem and for every problem an expedient solution, such affairs should be referred to the House of Justice that the members thereof may act according to the needs and requirements of the time.\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

There are no clergy, priests, or religious leaders in the Bah\u00e1'\u00ed Faith. In the structure of the Bah\u00e1'\u00ed community, the administration and organization of its affairs are entrusted to elected councils, headed by the Universal House of Justice, rather than individuals. The Universal House of Justice is the supreme global institution responsible for managing the affairs of the Bah\u00e1'\u00ed Faith. Bah\u00e1'u'll\u00e1h explicitly ordained the establishment of this institution in His Book of Laws, 'The Kit\u00e1b-i-Aqdas'.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
