The peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God.
Baháʼís believe in only One God, the Creator, and in all His Messengers and Prophets. We believe God created humanity to know Him and to worship Him and that in its essence, religion is one. Baháʼís believe that the Founders of the world religions are in essence Manifestations of One Truth (God). The Baháʼí writings refer to other religions in the utmost respect and explain that true belief in the Oneness of God also implies that all mankind was created by the Will of God, and so, they are all one in their origin. As such, true belief in the Oneness of God must only be followed by the belief that mankind is also one.
